Recap / The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh S 3 E6b To Bee Or Not To Bee

Go To

Rabbit leads the group into war against a hive of bees.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Bolivian Army Ending: Not so much the actual war with the bees, but the framing story. Christopher Robin is still about to get chewed out by his mother for not cleaning up, and the episode frames it as him about to face down an enemy in battle.
  • Feud Episode: While the characters have all earned the wrath of the Wood's bees before, this is the first time they present a united front against the bees and declare open war upon them.
  • Framing Device: The episode is told in flashback by Pooh and the others as they help Christopher Robin clean his room.
  • Pun-Based Title: On the phrase "To be or not to be" from Hamlet.
  • Unreliable Narrator: Rabbit frequently talks up his bravery as the leader of the war effort, but many of his narrations are undermined by the episode showing what really happened.
