  • Balloonacy: The April Fool's trick for Rabbit was a giant balloon of a carrot, which briefly carries Rabbit across the Hundred Acre Wood after he moves it.
  • Book Ends: The episode starts and ends with Pooh saying "Just in time for breakfast."
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Pooh briefly talks to the audience, knowing that he played an April Fool's day trick: just in time for breakfast, he knew it was dinnertime all along.
  • Malaproper: Tigger refers to the gang's disguising as becoming "invisibibble".
  • Mobile Shrubbery: When sneaking after the April Fool, Pooh, Rabbit, Tigger and Piglet wear tree trunks with their arms and legs sticking out.
  • The Reveal: After falling for one of Tigger's traps to catch the April Fool, Christopher Robin reveals that he was the one who was pranking everyone, but defends that his pranks weren't intended to be scary of harmful.
  • Squirrels in My Pants: Piglet briefly hides in Pooh's shirt after being spooked by Rabbit's voice when he's stuck in the air, holding onto his giant carrot balloon.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Rabbit, after falling for the April Fool's giant balloon carrot trick, immediately demands an explanation in this manner.
    Rabbit: Thank you. Now would someone mind telling me... WHAT'S GOING ON AROUND HERE?!!
  • Visual Pun: When Tigger appears, he shouts, "Gangway, I've been spotted!" while wearing a pair of spotted pajamas.
