The sixth episode of the first season of the 2007 revival series of The Magic Roundabout.

- Becoming Part of the Image: When Florence is helping Brian carrying a picture of a snail for his International Snail Day festival, Dougal accidentally gets his head stuck in the picture whilst he was busy sniffing around for his pie which was missing earlier. Florence weren't amused at this.
- Detective Animal: Dougal became the "dogtective" to hunt for everyone's favourite things that were missing with Florence being Dougal's human assistant to help Dougal on solving the case.
- Detectives Follow Footprints: Dougal discovers the footprints near the well at Florence's house and follows them where they belong to Ermintrude, making her one of the suspects.
- Excellent Judge of Character: Earlier in the episode, Dougal suspects that his friends' favourite things were taken by Zebedee, who claims that he didn't. It turns out that Dougal was right about Zebedee when he and Florence find out from Brian that it was Zebedee who gave the things to Brian so he can give them back to his friends for his "International Snail Day" festival.
- Foreshadowing: When Florence explains to Dougal that her flower pot, Soldier Sam's bearskin hat, Mr. Grimsdale's bike and Mr. Rusty's oilcan were missing, Brian begins to get nervous and quickly hides in the shell as Dougal begins to get suspicious. By the time Dougal finds the missing things in the wrapped presents, he rightfully catches Brian red-handed, until he points out that Zebedee took all the things and that Brian only wanted to give them back to his friends just so they would attend his festival.
- They Have the Scent!: When Mr. Grimsdale's motorbike was stolen, he reveals that his smelly cheese where in that cart, so Dougal follows the scent where it leads him to the bandstand and finds everyone's favourite things wrapped in boxes before Brian can give the presents to everyone.
