After Ham spills some cream corn on himself and he screams loudy at his school's cafeteria, a punk band, consisting of Quay, Bethany, and Steven Huang, wants him to join and embrace the punk life. Meanwhile, Wolf and Honeybee are hired to make a movie tribute for the annual State of the Moose, Lone Moose Moose Banquet and they ask Beef, Judy, and Moon to be in their movie and give them ideas on what they should put in.

Tropes:

  • Couch Gag: The boat in the opening is Big Deck Energy.
  • Movie-Making Mess: Downplayed. The movie Wolf and Honeybee make combines all of the Tobin's separate ideas (Moon's sci-fi movie, Beef preparing a salad, Judy playing a dead ballerina) and ends up making no sense. No one minds, however, because they're more focused on pointing out the locations from all over town.
  • Poke the Poodle: The mischief the members of the punk band includes such things as disobeying a "Do not pet puppies" sign at the animal shelter, writing small graffiti (in chalk) on the school wall that reads "poo 4-ever", pantsing a mannequin, and taking two newspapers when the dispenser says to only take one.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The title is based on It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
  • Raised Lighter Tribute: Delmer holds up a lighter during Ham's new punk song about praising parents with his dad sitting next to him.
Delmer: I love my dad and I don't care who knows it.
  • Rhyming with Itself: The closing credits song, "Butternut Squash? Better Not, Josh!" ends with Ham telling a student named Reuben not to eat a Reuben (sandwich).

♫ Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Tortillas and beans, nuh-uh, Eugene
Nice piece of fish-a, you wish, Tricia
Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Corn on the cobb, you disappoint me, Rob
PB and jelly, forget it, Shelly
Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Blueberry pie, you're dreaming, Ty
Pastrami, Reuben, hell, no, uh... Reuben
Butternut squash, better not, Josh
Butternut squash, better not... ♫
