After learning no one made the deposit on the wedding venue, Geoff scrambles to help fix the oversight before Beverly finds out and sets up an over-the-top ceremony in its place.
- Big Storm Episode: An approaching storm threatens to ruin the wedding. Beverly appears to reroute the storm with nothing but her own will, but then the storm changes direction again, and this time Bev can't stop it. In the end, they are forced to do a small ceremony at home instead of the extravaganza Beverly had planned, just like Erica wanted.
- Commonality Connection: While Beverly's dealing with Geoff, Barry and Adam are tasked with keeping Erica stress-free and good-looking, and end up all going to the spa together; it's such an enjoyable experience for the boys that they gain newfound appreciation for Erica and refer to themselves as "spa siblings" for the rest of the episode.
- Guest Star: Richard Marx appears as himself, having been hired by Beverly to sing at the over-the-top wedding she's planning.
- It's All About Me: Beverly, in so many ways. First she plans a big extravagant ceremony for the wedding, which includes her appearing out of a giant clamshell like Venus, which is clearly meant to focus more on her than on Erica and Geoff. Then she becomes so focused on making sure that Geoff doesn't get too scared to go through with the wedding she's planning that, when Erica (the bride) is mentioned, Beverly actually states "I forgot she was a part of this."
- Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: When Beverly learns that the wedding may be cancelled due to weather, she makes pushing movements in front of the weather channel, trying to will the storm away. Oddly, it seems to work, with a weatherman stating that he's never seen storm patterns divert like this before. Later, when the storm comes back, Erica and Beverly start to push in opposite directions.
- Playing Sick: When the storm ends up not cancelling the wedding and Beverly goes back to setting up an overdramatic production, Geoff decides to get her to back off...by coughing loudly and trying to convince her that they need to push the wedding date back due to illness. Beverly instead decides to take him to a doctor and run every excruciating test possible, which leads to the doctor not finding anything and diagnosing him with "cold feet".
- Wham Episode: Being a Wedding Episode, Erica and Geoff finally get hitched after months of planning and setbacks.
