A Plot: Adam learns that students will be allowed to take their lunch off campus, but it turns out he needs Beverly's signature in order to benefit this privilege. Beverly refuses, so he forges a plan with his friends, but the idea goes awry when Beverly opens a house restaurant.
B Plot: As Geoff is not a student, he can't eat at the cafeteria, until Barry suggests he could use his ID. But Geoff is mistaken by a teacher for Barry, and soon, he decides to live as Barry Goldberg...until the real Barry shows up and wackiness ensues.
- Drives Like Crazy: Johnny Atkins makes great time driving to and from lunch by disregarding basic driving laws.
- "Freaky Friday" Flip: Invoked. The episode begins with Barry and the JTP at the video store looking for body-swapping movies to watch. This gives Barry the idea to give Geoff his college ID so he can eat in the cafeteria. In The Tag, Erica and Barry pretend to be each other.
- Gone Horribly Right: Barry didn't expect that by giving Geoff his college ID, it would lead to him becoming more popular than the real Barry.
- Start My Own: To keep Adam from driving to the mall for lunch, Bev starts her own restaurant at home, Bev's Bites. It actually becomes popular with Adam's friends, much to his dismay.
