Ruly Ernando challenges Adi to a pingpong match. If Ruly loses, Ruly will give Adi a million dollar; if Adi loses, Adi must let Angel go with him to Germany.
This episode provides examples of:
- Absurdly High-Stakes Game: Played with. Ruly bets a million dollar in the pingpong match, but he is rich enough that it means nothing even if he lose. The real stake is whether Adi will have to allow Ruly brings Angel with him for a week.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: In spite of her frequent annoyances at Adi's behavior, Angel lets go of the potentially career-changing job from Ruly because she loves Adi and doesn't want to make Adi broken-hearted.
- Failure Montage: Once Ruly stops holding back in pingpong, we get a montage of Adi failing to return Ruly's smashes.
- I Am Not Left-Handed: Ruly allows Adi to get the upper hand early in the match. Once Angel arrives, Ruly decides to start playing seriously and utterly demoilishes Adi.
- Obviously Not Fine: When Angel seems to finally go, Adi insists to her, and later to Bastian and Bintang, that he is fine. The second time doesn't work as Adi breaks down into tears soon after.
- Oh, Crap!: Bintang has a shocked face when Angel reveals that Ruly Ernando is an Asian Games-level pingpong player. Bastian has a Big "WHAT?!" when Bintang passes the message.
- Shout-Out: Adi's first scene is training while "Eye of the Tiger" is being played, to the point Angel calls him Rocky.
