The Devils Awaken was Teppen's second expansion. It released in October of 2019 and brought the game's second post launch hero, Nero. It also introduced 2 new abilities; "Growth" which lets units level up and get new effects once they reach enough Growth Points (earned by placing down other units), and "Anti-Air" which lets units block any Flight users from directly attacking your hero. The expansion's story is a retelling of Devil May Cry 5's story, with many unit and action cards being characters and scenes from the game.Series and characters included as Unit Cards in this expansion
