When Steve's skills catch the attention of Master Hand, Steve is brought into Smash Bros.
- Beware the Silly Ones: The entire episode is what happens if you piss off Steve by hurting his chickens, becoming such a menace that only Sans can rival him.
- Bullying a Dragon: Captain Falcon decides that the best course of action when faced with a clearly-pissed Steve is to mock him, and then Falcon Punch him for no apparent reason. This ends predictably.
- The Bus Came Back: Steve and Sans.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Steve's fight against Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Kirby, and Fox ends up being this.
- Failed a Spot Check: Master Hand threatens a chicken to prevent Steve from destroying him. Unfortunately for him, Mario was there, and he snatched the chicken away when M. Hand wasn't paying attention, leaving Steve free to punch him.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: If Master Hand had let Mario go home, Mario wouldn't have rescued the chicken that he was using to prevent Steve from attacking him.
- Smart Ball: For a few moments though. Steve decides to fight quietly against Marth in order to not provoke a Zombie Attack. Mario, not so much, but the Zombies attack Marth and Roy only, so its a win for them.
- Worthy Opponent: Steve and Sans' fight ends in a stalemate, leading to the funny skeleton to declare that Steve is this, leading to the two becoming friends.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Inverted. Sans only wanted to work with Master Hand until he could find a Worthy Opponent. Steve ends up being one, so he turns on Master Hand.
