After Bowser, Chef Pee Pee and Mario head out to the casino, Junior and Cody accidentally get themselves stuck in the pantry.
- Anti-Climax: A couple pounds on the pantry door unlock it very quickly...but that's just apart of Cody's daydream.
- Beyond the Impossible: The cup-telephone trick Junior tries somehow gets voicemail and can work like an actual smartphone.
- Brick Joke: When Mario asks Bowser what he's going to do if he loses all his life savings on the casino, he replies he'll just jump off a bridge. At the end of the video, he ends up doing it.
- Didn't Think This Through: When Junior tells Cody that they have plenty of food to eat, such as popcorn, oatmeal, and macaroni and cheese, Cody reminds him that that food has to be cooked before it can be eaten. Junior is also unable to open cans of tuna, Spaghetti-Os, and tomato soup because they don't have a can opener.
- Grows on Trees: Discussed; when Mario tells Jeffy about the pantry and what it is, Jeffy tells him that he thinks a "pan tree" is a tree that has pans growing on it.
- Hope Spot: Junior and Cody find a box of Pop-tarts, meaning it's something they can eat, only to discover that the box is empty because Junior forgot to throw it away after eating the last Pop-tart.
- Sanity Slippage: Junior and Cody get a few screws loose getting stuck in the pantry, which mind you, has minimal food, some of which is expired.
- This Is My Side: Junior and Cody decide to stay on separate sides of the pantry when they get into a feud with each other.
- Tin-Can Telephone: Junior makes a telephone from paper cups and string.
- Way Past the Expiration Date: While looking for something to drink in the pantry, Junior comes across unrefrigerated milk that has been stored in the pantry for two years, which he mistakes for Mountain Dew due to how green it is. Junior then wishes the milk a happy birthday.
