- Call-Back: BB-8 does the same "thumbs up lighter" trick that he pulled in The Force Awakens.
- Electric Jellyfish: Large schools of these apparently live in the Cantonican atmosphere.
- Shout-Out: Our heroes find themselves stuck in a swarm of jellyfish and have to navigate their way out. Are we talking about Star Wars or Finding Nemo?
- Space Whale: Space Jellyfish, but still. The creatures ends up causing a lot of unnecessary trouble for our heroes.
- Wrench Wench: Rose puts her skills to the test in repairing BB-8.
