- Dreadful Musician: Both of Jal's brothers.
- Hidden Buxom: Jal normally dresses so conservatively that when she finally does show some cleavage, even Maxxie is mesmerized.

- Mad Twatter displays skill on the clarinet when he snatches Jal's clarinet.
- Ronny Fazer spits some amazing spoken word when he thinks he's alone in the studio.
- Not What It Looks Like: Sid gets his finger caught in Jal's dress zipper, causing him to yell as he frees it and Jal orders him to get out. A passing mother calls out Sid in disgust.
- Only Sane Man: Deconstructed. Jal takes her Surrounded by Idiots attitude to such an extreme that she comes off as more of a party pooper than level-headed.
- Papa Wolf: It's strongly implied that Ronny Fazer personally kills Mad Twatter for terrorizing Jal.
