Original air date: 12/29/2000

In the fifth episode of Sheep in the Big City, Sheep returns to the farm for the holidays, with General Specific in hot pursuit.

"Home for the Baa-lidays" contains examples of:

  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: The Oxymoron Guaranteed Plastic Sealing Bag-Type Containers come with a robotic A.I. armed with a laser for "guaranteed freshness." Unfortunately, any attempt to actually eat the food apparently counts as breaking that guarantee, so the robot actively tries to destroy anyone who touches the meal (including the person who cooked it).
  • Christmas Episode: Sheep visits the farm to celebrate Clearance Day, almost ending up as Lisa Rental's Clearance Day present in the process, and as usual trying to avoid General Specific and his goons from the Secret Military Organization.
  • Exact Words:
    • We're introduced to the Flying Sombrero Brothers, which sounds like the name of an acrobatic act. But instead, we see footage of them flying...as passengers on an airplane.
    • The Oxymoron Guaranteed Plastic Sealing Bag-Type Containers guaranteed that customers' food will be kept 100% fresh—because the robot that comes with the containers takes and locks up all of the food before it's eaten.
  • Heartwarming Orphan: A small British urchin appears out of nowhere to deliver a speech about the true meaning of Clearance Day. It's enough to get General Specific, the army, and Farmer John to stop fighting over Sheep and join hands in song (at which point Sheep wisely cuts and runs).
  • Overly Long Name: Oxymoron Guaranteed Plastic Sealing Bag-type Containers. It also has a supercomputer-powered, laser-equipped robot attached to protect the freshness.
  • You Mean "Xmas": Clearence Day is the substitute for Christmas in this case.
