An artist named Yumemi Yumeno asks Mamoru and Usagi to model for a painting she's working on. As the two of them sit together, though, the tensions between them begin to ease.
Tropes in this episode include:
- Call-Back: In the DiC dub, Darien references his modelling career mentioned 10 episodes previously.
- Dramatic Irony: Played With. Usagi through most of the season hated Mamoru but always had a deep crush on Tuxedo Mask, but is not yet aware she is actually with him. This episode has Usagi start to warm up to Mamoru. Later episodes actually explore into this.
- Dub Name Change: Yumemi Yumeno is named "Peggy Jones" in the DiC Episode, with the Alliterative Name preserved using the alias “Lonnie Lenai”.
- Foreshadowing: Tensions begin to settle between Usagi and Mamoru, and they start to like each other.
- Nothing Is the Same Anymore: After being at each others' throats through the season so far, Usagi and Mamoru no longer hate each other and start to get closer.
- Shout-Out: Some of Yumemi Yumeno's artwork resembles art from The Cherry Project, an earlier manga by Naoko Takeuchi.
