S.W.A.T.joins forces with the U.S. Marshalls to track down a suspect robbing drug shipments, but Hondo is suspicious when he learns the head investigator, who happens to be the estranged husband of the woman he's seeing, specifically requested his presence on the case. Forced to confront some unpleasant truths about his mother, Street makes a big decision about his future and where his loyalties lie.

- Blatant Lies: Street's mother's efforts to cover up having cocaine in her possession, followed by Playing the Victim Card when he refuses to believe them. Unfortunately, Street is no mood to buy anymore of her excuses.
- Break-Up/Make-Up Scenario: Hondo and Street reconcile over the differences they fell out over in Season 1, with Street admitting Hondo was right about his mother and that he let his familial loyalties blind him to what she was really like, while Hondo accepts Street's point and notes no one wants to think the worst about their own family.
