SMG4 wakes up in Peach's Castle with amnesia and a bunch of randomness all around the castle. He must retrace his steps in order to figure out what happened.
This episode of SMG4 contains examples of:
- Abnormal Ammo: Toadsworth shoots Mario through a cannon at SMG4.
- Amusing Injuries: Zigzagged. While Peach falling down the stairs is Played for Laughs, she doesn't get back up for the rest of the episode.
- Chekhov's Gun: Most of the randomness SMG4 found on his first walk through the castle after waking up ends up coming into play later, mostly used to jog his memory on why something happened.
- Damsel in Distress: Mario ended up in this situation for a brief period when Toadsworth grabbed him, complete with audio of Peach's screams for help.
- Gilligan Cut: SMG4 mentions how things can't get any weirder after seeing a strange scene between Mario and a Teletubby. The scene then cuts to Bowser being hung from the ceiling in a fairy costume.
- How We Got Here: The entire plot is centered around SMG4 trying to figure out how everything happened in the first place.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: SMG4 and Mario both get this after Toadsworth shoots the former at the latter, causing the two to pass out.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Mario does this twice.
- Chronologically, he started the entire conflict of the episode by giving Toadsworth a plate of drugged spaghetti, which caused him to turn into a raging lunatic.
- The second time, he gives Yoshi a golden mushroom in order to give him the energy to snag Toadsworth with his tongue. This results in Yoshi becoming so hyper that he knocks Bowser out of the sky, allowing Toadsworth to snag his Clown Car, which just makes the problem worse.
- Noodle Incident: At the end of the video, Mario gives SMG4 a plate of drugged spaghetti. When he snaps out of it, SMG4 finds himself pole dancing in a bikini for a group of Teletubbies.
- Shout-Out: The title and premise of the episode are a reference to another The Hangover.
- Tap on the Head: SMG4 and Mario both end up knocked out when Toadsworth shoots the latter at the former.
- What Did I Do Last Night?: SMG4 wakes up with no memory of what happened before he was knocked out. The plot primarily centers around him trying to figure out what happened by retracing his steps.
