Mario and friends play a Tabletop RPG hosted by SMG4 where they search for the Spaghetti of Power.
- Anachronism Stew: The campaign the gang are playing is set in medieval times. Despite this, Mario is able to bring in a helicopter and a car, with both only disappearing when SMG4 reminds Mario they wouldn't exist in medieval times. Dragon SMG4 also uses a shotgun as his special attack during the final fight.
- Death Trap Tango: One of the last obstacles is a dungeon, with Mario and co. using bait to locate traps. At one point during the dungeon exploration Montage, Mario dances to "Stayin' Alive" while dodging spear traps.
- Didn't Think This Through: SMG4 really should've thought twice when he tried to make the game unwinnable when surrounded by people much stronger than him.
- Fighter, Mage, Thief: Mario serves as the party's primary Fighter using his ax, both Toad and Bowser fill in the Mage roles, Toad being the Black Mage and Bowser being The Medic, and Luigi's the Thief, having impressive dodging abilities and doing average damage with his arrows.
- Human Resources: The party uses the dead corpses of the goblins they killed earlier to trigger traps so that they know how to dodge them.
- Hypocritical Humor: SMG4 hates it when Mario tries to bring modern elements into the game, but is perfectly fine with giving a dragon a shotgun.
- Pyrrhic Victory: The party manages to reach the Spaghetti of Power. However, because SMG4 didn't intend for the gang to beat him, he "rewards" them by giving them each 10 points for being assholes. Mario's the only one happy about it.Mario: Yeah! Mario is an asshole!
- Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies: SMG4 attempts to do this to everyone when they get the advantage over his dragon character... with a shotgun. Luigi lampshades that dragons shouldn't be able to use guns, but SMG4 claims that since he's the game master, he gets to decide what's possible. Everyone gets pissed and Mario punches SMG4 in real life, forcing the party to win.
- Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: SMG4’s response to being called out on giving his dragon character a shotgun, despite earlier getting upset when Mario tried to bring modern vehicles into the game.
- Sore Loser: When SMG4's dragon was quickly overwhelmed, SMG4 quickly flips the tides by giving himself a shotgun, but is punched for cheating and is forced to allow the party to win. The only reward he gives them for getting the spaghetti is 10 points for being assholes.
- Tabletop RPG: The whole episode consists of Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Bowser playing one with SMG4 as the Game Master.
- Unwinnable by Design: SMG4 clearly didn't intend for the final fight to be winnable, and expected the whole party to die from it. After the gang manages to win by knocking SMG4 out, he hand waves a reward for them.Mario: Ohohoh! Do we become gods? Invincible??? :D
SMG4: You all get +10 to being an asshole. - Your Head A-Splode: Upon the inn clerk refusing to give any information and demanding money instead, Toad decides to blow up his head. This ends up allowing Bowser to resurrect him as an indentured slave.
