When a bunch of Luigi dolls appear, it's up to Mario and SMG4 to figure out where they're all coming from.


This episode of SMG4 contains examples of:

  • Alliterative Title: "Luigi Labyrinth".
  • Ass Shove: Minion does this to a Luigi doll with a rocket in order to turn it into an escape vehicle.
  • Caught Monologuing: While Luigi explains his evil backstory, Mario and SMG4 ignore him and plant bombs all over the place.
    Mario: Do you think we should add more?
    SMG4: No I think that's enough...
  • Clone Army: The Luigi dolls are revealed to be the result of cloning experiment, with Luigi and a doll of his being the base.
  • Faceā€“Heel Turn: Luigi acts as the main villain for the episode, having decided to become evil after he accidentally created the Luigi dolls.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Immediately subverted. Mario instantly knows that "Mr. L" is Luigi .
  • "Psycho" Strings: These play when Mario scares the Luigi doll into falling into the radioactive sewage.
  • Skewed Priorities: Mario is more concerned with the fact that Luigi didn't get him his spaghetti than the fact that Luigi is a villain.
  • Talking Is a Free Action: Subverted. Luigi explains his villain backstory to Mario and company while they're in the power core room. When he's finished explaining, it's revealed that Mario and SMG4 had placed bombs around the power core while he was busy speaking.
    Luigi: YOU GUYS DIDN'T EVEN LISTEN TO MY BACKSTORY! :(
    Mario: I DON'T CARE!
  • Temporarily a Villain: Luigi under his alias as Mr. L.
  • The Virus: The Luigi dolls can turn anyone into one of them via hugging.
