- Eyepiece Prank: In order to catch and shame DJ for peeping on Molly, Darlene rubs the eyepiece of his telescope with shoe polish. To her horror, when called downstairs, DJ looks perfectly fine, but David has a black ring around his eye.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Darlene insists loudly that David could not possibly be interested in Molly, and anyway, she stuffs her bra.

Harsher in Hindsight: At the end of the episode, it's implied that Darlene beats the crap out of David for peeping at Molly, and this is Played for Laughs. The next time we see David, we'll find out about his abusive home life, and it's not funny. - The Peeping Tom: Darlene finds her brother using a telescope to spy on their new neighbor changing clothes. She tells him off for it, but Molly reports seeing the telescope continue to watch her. (Why she continues to change in front of an open window is another question.)
- Relax-o-Vision: When Darlene finds out what David's been up to, we cut away to a card that reads, "DUE TO ITS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC AND VIOLENT NATURE, THE REMAINDER OF THIS SCENE HAS BEEN CENSORED".
