After the destruction of Armagon, the Ranger finds themselves back home. However, another threat looms on the horizon: Quake himself! Time to pick up the axe and the shotgun; there are more enemies to turn into mincemeat.This episode contains seven levels: "Deviant's Domain", "Dread Portal", "Judgement Call", "Cave of Death", "Towers of Wrath", "Temple of Pain" and "Tomb of the Overlord".
This episode contains examples of:
- Cosmetic Award: Completing the episode in the 2021 remaster earns you the achievement "Overlord Overdone".
- Creepy Cemetery: "R1M6: Temple of Pain" has a cemetery full of zombies.
- Kaizo Trap: The end of "R1M7: Tomb of the Overlord". You can still get killed by the nail shooters in the walls if you walk in the wrong place, even after Overlord and his Wraith mooks are defeated.
