Ash gets his badges stolen again, this time by a mischeivous Snorunt. When it swipes food from Team Rocket, they end up on the chase as well. Things get heated when Ash and Snorunt get caught in a snowstorm.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Corner of Woe: When May turns James' comment that nobody likes a person who doesn't know when to quit back at Team Rocket, they take it very personally.
- Diving Save: What is it with Ash and saving someone by cushioning their fall with his own back?
- Dude, Not Funny!: Ash rightly gets angry with Snorunt after it keeps stealing its badges.
- Needle in a Stack of Needles: Snorunt uses Double Team to hide Ash's badges among its doppelgangers.
- Not Me This Time: Inverted: Ash follows Corphish into the kitchen, and Ash yells for his badges to be returned. The ones hiding in the kitchen is actually Team Rocket, and they immediately deny any involvement of the theft, not knowing that the twerps are actually searching for Snorunt.
- Shout-Out: The title is a shout-out to the old Christmas carol, "Let It Snow."
- Trail of Bread Crumbs: Having stolen Ash's badge case, the gang search for Snorunt inside the Center, Snorunt intentionally leaves behind a badge one by one for them to follow.
