Recap / Pokemon S 18 E 6 A Slippery Encounter

Go To

A Pokémon falls out of the sky and collides with Ash. The Pokémon is Goomy, a Dragon-type reputed to be the weakest of all the Dragon-types. After Ash and co. help it recover, they see that Goomy is afraid of Dedenne, a Fairy-type, and a wild Ariados, a Bug-type. They try to determine the cause of Goomy's fears and with the help of Clemont's newest invention, learn that it has to do with a swarm of Bug-types that invaded the wetlands that were Goomy's home. Their efforts are put on hold when Team Rocket attacks and abducts Pikachu and Goomy. They escape, but Team Rocket catches up to them and in the ensuing battle, Ash's friends are incapacitated and Pikachu and Fletchinder end up disoriented by Inkay's Psybeam. Goomy manages to step in and help and fends them off with its Bide attack, and decides to go with Ash.
