- Bad Impressionists: Ted Cruz insists that he does good impressions, but really it's just him quoting movies in his normal, nasally voice.
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Channeling his dad's tendency to give personal anecdotes, Eric manages to strengthen America's relations with China.
- Gone Horribly Right: The Impersonators (including Eric) are able to do Trump's job so well, his approval ratings are on the rise. Unfortunately, this makes Trump and his fragile ego realize that he could be doing a better job. Not only that, but the impersonators wind up so deep into character, they go to the White House to claim the Oval Office as the President.
- Inelegant Blubbering: Don Jr. spends Eric's graduation speech sobbing hysterically.Don Jr.: You made my eyes gay! Fuck you, Eric! I love you! Nobody look at me!
- Lack of Empathy: Even when Trump sees the disaster victims, he can even be bothered to fake compassion, considering it the "gross part" of being the President.
- Take That!: When Trump has his impersonators killed in cold blood with drones, he says that he won't get in trouble because drone strikes are "bipartisan." Obama even called to congratulate him over it.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Eric joins the impersonators because he wants a "thing", his thing being the Butt-Monkey of the family.
