After the Battle of Venezia, the Strike Witches have been disbanded and Wilcke, Erica Hartmann, and Barkhorn have been stationed at Saint-Trond in Belgica along with Heidemarie Schnaufer. Ursula Hartmann arrives with some new weapons, most notably a giant MK 214A autocannon which is too big for convention prop Striker Units to handle and requires the more powerful but experimental Me 262 Jet Striker. Erica is reluctant to let Barkhorn use it after the last failure, and when Ursula explains that the problem has been fixed by swapping out the original prototype's faulty engine, Erica starts belittling Ursula's competence. This is made even worse when Ursula replaces Erica's Striker Unit with a tandem Bf 109Z which Erica then crashes. A Neuroi attacks and Wilcke and Barkhorn scramble to intercept it. They are soon overwhelmed, but Ursula and Erica take the air in tandem, come to the rescue, and defeat the Neuroi.
