- Amplified Animal Aptitude: A mouse uses Molly's mitten first as cover to sneak past a sleeping fox, then as a sled to make its trip downhill quicker.
- Bait-and-Switch: When Molly and Tooey show up at Mr. Patak's door to ask about the mitten, Mr. Patak opens it and excitedly tells Molly he has something for her. He turns around to get it...and it's a tray of muffins.
- Pun-Based Title: The title is a play on the phrase, "the whole kit and kaboodle."
"Eagle Tale": It's Father's Day, and Molly and her friends are putting on a play for their dads.

- Playing a Tree: Tooey initially asks for the role of a spruce, as he feels he's not floppy enough to play a salmon. Auntie Midge helps him figure out the role.
- Shown Their Work: A female eagle is correctly portrayed as bigger than the male. After the kids' play ends, everyone notices an eagle returning to its nest in a tree, where its mate and chicks are waiting. The newly arrived eagle is bigger than the one in the nest. Walter comments that the eagle dad was also watching the play from his nest.
