In this episode of Mahabharata, Krishna explains his true divine nature to Arjun and then shows him what Vishnu actually looks like.

Arjun, with a new renewed sense of purpose, lifts up his bow and blows his conch. Dhritharashtra realizes that he is going to lose this war now.

  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: The “Krishna” we’ve been seeing all along is just a human form he takes.
  • A God Am I: Krishna announces his true divine nature to Arjun.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Invoked by Dhritharashtra. Once Sanjay reveals Krishna’s divine nature to him, Dhritharashtra feels that the war is lost.
  • God of Good: Krishna states that whenever it looks like evil might overwhelm righteousness, he takes human form to vanquish that evil.
  • He's Back!: Arjun, having shaken off the pangs of guilt and pacifism, lifts up his bow and mounts his chariot again. He is ready to fight.
  • Humanoid Abomination: Krishna reveals his true form to Arjun and it is of a gigantic multi-headed humanoid creature, whose one head is sucking the souls of dying people in, a second head is spitting out the souls of newborns, another head is blowing fire, another is sucking in water, another is spitting out water, yet another is blowing wind. Multiple hands hold different weapons, while another holds a conch. And one head’s mouth opens to reveal the solar system.
  • Past-Life Memories: Krishna states that Ram was his previous incarnation.
