Logan and Cerreta investigate after three bodies are found washed up in identical circumstances. Ira Bender was an inspector who'd been investigating illegal sweatshops; the other two victims, Eduardo and Maria Carranza, worked at a factory he visited. The detectives find the factory abandoned but follow a trail to Royalty Fashions and its owners Ellis and Betty Drake, who use undocumented labor. They are arrested along with their former employee Rudy Amendariz.

The Drakes are clearly afraid of Amendariz, and all attempts at a plea deal fail. The judge rules that Amendariz' wife Lena could testify, but she is also too scared. When taunted over an affair Betty had with Amendariz, Ellis agrees to testify against them. He says Amendariz came up with the idea of imprisoning workers in the sweatshop. Amendariz then killed Bender, and later the Carranzas when they tried to escape. However, Amendariz' lawyer spins this to suggest Ellis committed all the murders himself. Stone and Robinette decide to try Lena again, only to find that all the remaining sweatshop workers were killed and buried in her grandmother's yard.

Stone is concerned that in the event of a re-indictment, the defense could just pin all the murders on Ellis. The Brooklyn DA now wants the case since the bodies were found in Brooklyn, where Lena's grandmother lives. Schiff orders Stone to cut a deal with Amendariz and the Drakes. With the threat of putting Lena's grandmother on the stand, and showing the jury the photos from her yard, the defense agrees to one count of murder and a 25-year sentence for each defendant.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Cement Shoes: The absence of this is how Logan initially rules out the Mafia being responsible for the deaths of Bender and the Carranzas.
  • Chained to a Bed: How Amendariz imprisoned people inside the sweatshop.
  • Double-Meaning Title: Refers to the marriages of the Drakes and Amendariz, but also a company called Wedded Bliss that leads the detectives to Royalty Fashions.
  • Happily Adopted: The Drakes claim this is their relationship with Amendariz, whom they took in as a homeless teen.
  • Honorable Marriage Proposal: Lena's grandmother pressured her to marry Amendariz so the family looked "respectable".
  • The Illegal: Eduardo and Maria Carranza.
  • Kinky Cuffs: A key piece of evidence is that all three corpses were handcuffed, and there were handcuffs found in the abandoned factory. The defense claims Amendariz used the building for BDSM play.
  • Kubrick Stare: Just about every shot of Amendariz in the courtroom has him doing one of these.
  • Ripped from the Headlines: Based on many raids of sweatshops around the time of the episode airing.
  • School for Scheming: Amendariz' club is a variant of this; he opened it as a cover for finding sweatshop labor.
  • Spousal Privilege: Averted when the judge holds Amendariz doesn't have it and Lena may testify against him.
