Allison and Patty make a deal with Nick. Nick agrees to kill Kevin in exchange for $7,000, and they give him the oxy pills as a down payment. Allison worries that things could go wrong; Patty convinces her to relax and let it go.
Kevin's birthday has come and with it, his tradition of juggling two parties - a dinner at a fancy restaurant with Allison and playing games at the arcade next door with Neil and Pete. Allison is used to the routine since it gives her some much-appreciated alone time. Kevin is determined to get the necessary amount of tickets to win a giant foam cowboy hat from the arcade prizes.
Patty attends a small party for the Worcester PD with Detective Tammy. Tammy reveals a romantic interest in Patty, much to Patty's surprise. It's then that Nick unexpectedly arrives at the restaurant, which worries Allison; it turns out that he works there as a busboy. Allison then has an awkward reunion with Sam and Jenn and then Sean Avery visits the restaurant and challenges Kevin to an eating contest. Kevin, despite the setbacks from the food he ate at the arcade, ultimately is able to win the eating contest.
Later Allison confronts Nick, demanding to know the exact details of his plan to kill Kevin. She tells him to do it the way she plans.

- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: The way the guys throw on the roll part of the Mighty Moo meal.
- As Himself: Sean Avery and Brian Scalabrine appear as themselves.
- Big Eater: Kevin. He's able to put down a decent amount of deep-fried appetizers from the arcade and the big Mighty Moo meal, though he does struggle a bit towards the end.
- Heroic Second Wind: It's only "heroic" because it takes place in the sitcom framing, but Kevin does struggle some as he works his way through the Mighty Moo after putting down a bunch of onion rings and buffalo wings from Tricky Ricky's before having an Imagine Spot of Brian Scalabrine inspiring him to keep going and finish the meal.
- Mega Meal Challenge: Kevin gets into one of these with Sean Avery (who he hates for slandering the Bruins and their fans on social media), with the two competing to see who can finish the meal first. The meal in question, the "Mighty Moo", is a 32-ounce steak with two baked potatoes (topped off with all the fixings), a jumbo shrimp cocktail, and a roll.
- Too Dumb to Live: Kevin risks his own life overeating and nearly choking on a piece of food. Sam has to give him the old Heimlich maneuver to save him.
- Two-Timer Date: Kevin engages in this with Allison and Neil every year on his birthday. Allison knows this has been happening for years, so much so that Patty even brings her a book to pass the time. Neil has been blissfully unaware of it all the while.
- Villains Out Shopping: Nick works at the titular restaurant as a busboy, making Allison freak out a bit.
