Go To

Release Date: October 27, 1999

Chris' successful brother comes to visit.

  • Bad "Bad Acting": Chris' "family" doesn't convince Rick in the slightest.
  • Big Brother Bully: Rick is this to Chris as he always humilliates him and is boastful towards him about his success.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Chris tells the Rockmores he's going to be living in the streets because he moved out of his mother's house. Kel, failing to understand the situation, wishes him luck.
  • Get Out!: The eery voice at Rigby's says this. Turns out the voice was from Kel.
  • Groin Attack: Kel accidentally drops the hot tray of cookies on Roger's lap, which the latter douses with plant water.
Kenan: Daddy, you know what that looks like?
Roger: Yes, I know what it looks like.
  • Haunted House: Kenan and Kel scare Rick from Rigbys by pretending it to be haunted with ghosts, zombies and...bunnies.
  • Hilariously Abusive Childhood: Chris tells Kenan and Kel his mother dropped him and Rick off at a haunted house when they were children and left them stranded there for three whole days. However, this gives Kenan an idea to scare Rick away.
Kel: Man, that must have left some deep-rooted emotional scars that you're gonna have to deal with for the rest of your life.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Kel complains about Chris mooching off the Rockmores... while doing the same. Also earlier, Chris refuses to work for his brother, stating while Rick can have Rigbys, Chris still has his dignity, only to crawl to the floor to pick a piece of food that Sheryl dropped to eat.
  • Jerkass Ball: Chris freeloads off the Rockmores when they have him stay over until Rick leaves.
  • Manchild: Chris asks Roger to be rock him back to sleep, as his mother used to do so before he moved out. Even Rick lampshades this.
  • Real After All: Kenan, Kel, Roger and Sheryl scare Rick away by pretending Rigbys is haunted. However when they explain it to Chris, they heard a strange booming voice which says: "GET OUT!"
  • The Thing That Would Not Leave: Chris becomes a burden to the Rockmores when he decides to stay over at their residence.
