Finally ZAIA Enterprise Japan has successfully acquired Hiden Intelligence as all HumaGears are instantly recalled and ordered to be shut down immediately! Aruto, who has lost his position as president to Gai Amatsu, has strayed away from Hiden Intelligence, and decided to save any HumaGears that are being displaced from society and discarded! In the midst of Aruto's struggles, he goes to meet with Jin, who has made it his mission to liberate all of the HumaGears...

Episode Tropes:

  • Artistic License – Law: The plot relies on two flagrant cases.
    • Gai demands a recall of all Humagears, which is depicted as armed men bursting into homes to seize them, or fishing them out of the trash. In real life, a recall simply stops new stock from being made, with any that existed beforehand either being traded in for something better or left alone.
    • Aruto is able to overturn the recall because the copyrights to Humagears belong to him, as arranged by his grandfather. The Board of Directors for Hiden Intelligence would’ve needed to ratify such a notion, as it would’ve crippled their company’s income, and given that they didn’t even know who Aruto was before he inherited the company, it’s doubtful that they did so.
  • Back to Base Form: Aruto's return as Zero-One has him fighting and overpowering Thouser with just Rising Hopper thanks to his improved fighting skills and combat experience, although he still transforms into Metal Cluster to finish the fight.
  • Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work : While Jin's status as a 'bad guy' is questionable, being a terrorist makes it easier for him to sneak into the lab and steal both Izu and the driver.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Both the grandson and grandfather of the Hiden family show this:
    • Aruto revealed that Izu's key was on him all along, so only he can activate her. And during the battle, Aruto revealed he kept all the other HumaGear data keys on his own body. This prevents Gai from permanently erasing all the HumaGear data, and also saved him from the Horseshoe Crab Raiders' bullets.
    • And once again, Korenosuke Hiden proves to have thought of everything. How? By keeping the patents for the HumaGear and Zero-One technology as his personal property rather than Hiden Intelligence, then having the ownership of those patents transferred to Aruto. This means that, despite now owning Hiden Intelligence, Gai still can't access any of the technology he wanted access to in the first place.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: There are two:
    • Thouser absolutely fails to land a hit or even inflict a scratch on the much more experienced Zero-One, who utilizes his special ability before switching to Metal Cluster Hopper to finish the fight.
    • On a related note, Fighting Jackal Raider was utterly defeated by Vulcan's Element Rampage Blast finisher.
  • Double-Meaning Title: This episode's title has two meanings in its own right:
    • Aruto affirming himself as Zero-One by his own acknowledgement compared to himself from episode 1, when he reluctantly used that title to defend civilians.
    • He's now a President in his own right of his own company, Hiden Manufacturing, instead of inheriting the position from his grandfather.
  • Downer Beginning: Of the show's 3rd arc. Following Gai's takeover of Hiden Intelligence after winning the Workplace Competition, most HumaGears are being shut down and some being thrown out in the streets, which the now jobless Aruto picked up the inactive HumaGears in his quest to save them as possible to start his own business.
  • Final Solution: Gai states that all HumaGears that aren't brought back to Hiden will be scrapped by AIMS.
  • Friendship Denial: Jin denies to Horobi that he is friends with Zero-One and states he is going to take the data from him to free the HumaGears.
  • Godzilla Threshold: After Gai succeeds in his hostile takeover of Hiden Intelligence, his first order of business is to scrap all of HumaGear, regardless of whether or not they are currently in use. Aruto decides to save as many HumaGears as he can. The person he goes to for help? Jin.
  • Loophole Abuse: The Zero One driver can only be used by the president and Aruto is no longer Hiden Intelligence's president. Izu's solution? Create and register a new company that Aruto's the president of, so he can use the driver.
  • Out-Gambitted: Korenosuke Hiden manages to do this to Gai from beyond the grave: he patented all of his HumaGear and Zero-One related technologies in his own name, not his company's, and thus Aruto inherited them. As a result, even though he has Hiden Intelligence, Gai didn't get the things the company had that he actually wanted.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Despite having been ousted from Hiden Intelligence by Gai following the Workplace Competition, Aruto is fighting back against his orders by defending the HumaGears he ordered to be shut down. This led to Izu acting on her own, managing the loophole abuse and contacting Satellite Zea to authorise Aruto's transformation.
  • Start My Own: How does Aruto decide to fight back against Gai now that the latter owns Hiden Intelligence? By founding his own company: Hiden Manufacturing!
  • Taking the Bullet : Aruto seemed to be doing it literally for Izu, only to be revealed he had a impromptu Kevlar vest with Progrise Keys as the actual bulletproof material. With the one that protected Aruto's life being Mamoru's key.
