While attempting to befriend Apparebushido, Houtarou Ichinose "Gotchanko-es" face-to-face with the mysterious observer, Supana Kurogane!
Houtarou was struck down by Supana, but still managed to find the path of the Samurai!
After he defeats a Malgam using AppareSkebow, another Malgam appears and attacks Rinne!
At that moment, however, a new warrior arrives on the scene...!

After Valvarad saves Houtarou and his team from Submarine Malgam, the young student and Rinne continue their quest to catch all of the remaining Chemies, only to run into the three Dark Sisters. One of them, Lachesis, absorbs the ant Chemy Antrooper to form another Malgam, and traps them in a dark, labyrinthian subspace.
With seemingly no way out of their plight, Rinne and Houtarou must give everything they've got to get back to the real world, but they might need another Chemy Card combination to make their job easier.
Tropes
- Big Damn Heroes: After Houtarou and Rinne are left in the crumbling warehouse and Rinne realizes she used up all her mana, Supana lets Houtarou borrow Madwheel so they can escape.
- …But He Sounds Handsome: When Ryo tells Houtarou about the mysterious hero who's been saving people from the paranormal incidents around town, Houtarou asks Ryo what he thinks about them. Ryo tells Houtarou that he's "extra cool", giving Houtarou an ego boost that lasts until he gets to the Academy.
- Discard and Draw: An almost literal example. Renge offers to trade Energyl and Sasukemaru to Houtarou in exchange for Kamantis, which he thinks about for a moment before accepting. It turns out to work well in his favor as the two almost immediately prove themselves.
- Heroic BSoD: Rinne completely shuts down after learning her father is dead, particularly because it was a Heroic Sacrifice to save Hotaro. And once Houtaro gets her to safety, she breaks down crying.
- Internal Reveal: Lachesis tells Houtarou that Fuga was the one who gave him the GotcharDriver and Rinne about Fuga's subsequent death.
- I Surrender, Suckers: When Lachesis asks Houtarou to give up the Gotchardriver to save Rinne's life, he throws her the Driver, upon which Energyl sucker punches the Dark Sister and allows Houtarou to retrieve it.
- Pet the Dog: Supana willingly allows Hotaro to borrow Madwheel so he can take himself and Rinne to safety.
- Subverted Catchphrase: Houtarou says "No gotcha!" in response to Rinne not liking her meal.
- Tastes Like Friendship: Rinne begins to fully open herself to Hotarou after trying one of his bento meals.
