Michael's alleged bungling of the Sin Rostro case makes front-page news, resulting in Michael more-or-less being fired. Jane and Rafael consider a custody agreement over Mateo. Xiomara wants to audition for a part on Rogelio's show.

- The Chanteuse: The role up for grabs in Rogelio's telenovela is a 1920's lounge singer who is apparently sleeping with Eleanor Roosevelt.
- Fix It in Post: Rogelio's reaction when Xiomara keeps flubbing the take. The result is some jarring Special Effects Failure In-Universe.
- Love Revelation Epiphany: Rogelio realizes he has feelings for Dina after Xo tells him so.
- Nepotism: Scott can't fire Anezka despite how incompetent she is because she's Petra's sister (he can't fire Jane, either). Xo: He did the sex sniff. - Special Effects Failure: In-universe, the special effects team's attempt to fix Xiomara's gaze in post is spectacularly horrible.
