Go To

After a mishap with Godzilla, HEAT is now under a tense argument. Meanwhile, sinister forces are in the works.

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Both Sides Have a Point: Nick calls out Elsie for uncovering the Leviathan and threatening the world while Elsie fires back that he forced her to keep secrets about Godzilla who is just as dangerous.
  • The Bus Came Back:
    • Soffler and Hoffman appear again ever since the Leviathan episode.
    • C-Rex, El Gusano, Queen Bee and the Giant Rat return as part of the aliens' monster army.
  • Call-Back: Nick recalls how the aliens were draining information out of Soffler and Hoffman and correctly guess that they also downloaded their personalities into the doctors to act as their agents.
  • Color-Coded Eyes: Anyone that possesses glowing green eyes are indications of the aliens' Mind Control over them.
  • Foreshadowing: When Hoffman inquires to Soffler if they should take control of Godzilla, Soffler explains that Elsie will help them with that.
  • Help, I'm Stuck!: Godzilla gets his head stuck in a bridge allowing the Giant Bat to bite at him. Thankfully, the bat leaves and Nick instructs Godzilla how to get out.
  • Let's Split Up, Gang!: Nick sends Randy and Monique to trail the Giant Bat while he returns to HEAT headquarters.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Both Soffler and Hoffman use their mental powers to pit HEAT against one another while also preventing them from finding out about their operations.
  • New Powers as the Plot Demands: Kraven showcases NIGEL housing a few Literal Surveillance Bugs which he uses to spy on the mind-controlled military.
  • Oh, Crap!: HEAT are horrified to see that the military has salvaged the Leviathan ship out of the ocean.
  • Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure: Invoked. The aliens manipulated HEAT to turn on one another. Though while it didn't last, it's enough for them to finally begin their operations to take over Earth.
  • Tainted Veins: At the end of the episode, both Soffler and Hoffman have large dark veins covering their faces.
  • Wham Line: As Nick calls out Hicks for bringing the Leviathan ship back to the surface, he finally asks how he find it.
    Elsie: I told them.
  • Wham Shot: On Site Omega, Hoffman greets the mutations that have appeared in other episodes and they all have have glowing green eyes, showing they are now under the aliens' control.
