HeartCatch Glitter Force
is the fifth chapter of Glitter Force: Into the Glitterverse.
The plot begins to thicken as the HeartCatch Cures get Glitterized.
Tropes:
- Big "SHUT UP!": Yuri screams three of these at the HeartCatch Glitter Force after they insist that Cologne isn't dead.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Joker arrives on the scene, the narrator stops and says "uh oh" instead of properly announcing him.
- Cliffhanger: The chapter ends just as Nagisa realizes that Joker has done something to Hikari.
- Dub Name Change: Tsubomi, Erika, and Itsuki get renamed Suzie, Erica, and Desiree/Dez. Although Yuri is not affected by the Glitter Force, the infected girls call her Mona.
- Hope Spot: After hearing Erica's name, Honoka believes that the Glitter Force failed to work on her. Immediately after, Erica refers to Tsubomi by Suzie, dashing that thought.
- Never Say "Die": Once Glitterized, the HeartCatch Cures insist that Cologne, Yuri's late fairy companion, is not dead, and is just waiting for her by the Heart Tree.
- Transformation Name Announcement:"The whole world will feel my power! I'm Glitter Blossom!"
- "You!" Exclamation: Reika snarls one of these when it's revealed that Joker had been interfering with the Cures and the Glitter Force for his own benefit.
