To Whom It May Concern
Sookie's up early in the morning to ask Lorelai to babysit her kids. Rory delivers her apology letter to Lucy. Luke attends a custody hearing. Paris makes plans for her and Rory's future. Sookie learns she's pregnant again.
Paris calls Lucy on not forgiving Rory. It works and they make up. Christopher looks for a level to prove to Paul Anka that the flat screen is hung right, and ends up finding the carbon print copy of Lorelai's family court letter.
Chris moves out. Luke gets shared custody. Richard gives his first lecture and has a heart attack.

- Analogy Backfire: Paris's Monopoly analogy makes Rory want to play Monopoly.
- Call-Back:
- The first time Sookie was pregnant, Lorelai sarcastically suggested she walk it off. This episode, Sookie freaks out about being pregnant and Lorelai informs her she can't walk it off.
- In episode five, Christopher shows Lorelai a letter from Sherry and Lorelai points out that he could have hidden it and she could have found it and become really insecure. This episode, Christopher finds a letter written by Lorelai about Luke, and it makes Chris really insecure.
- Captain Obvious:
- Lorelai explains to Chris that she couldn't hypnotize her dog into quitting his bad habits.
- Sookie hopes her pregnancy results in a boy or a girl.
- Continuity Snarl: The judge refers to the letter writer as "a Miss Lorelai Gilmore", though she was married by the time she wrote it.
- Crazy Jealous Guy: Chris.
- Dissimile: Anna insists Luke's history with romantic relationships implies he can't stick around as April's dad.
- Good Girls Avoid Abortion: Sookie's pregnancy is the definition of unwanted, but abortion is never even mentioned.
- Insane Troll Logic: Anna's deduction that because he hasn't had long-lasting romantic relationships, Luke is unreliable as a father.
- Malaproper: Travelling by bus is not the same as hanging out with the bus driver. The judge calls Anna's lawyer on making that argument.
- Must Have Caffeine: Lorelai is so tired she doesn't even remember she should pinch herself to check if she's dreaming. Sookie reminds her of it when she gets pinched by her.
- My Secret Pregnancy: Jackson realizes Sookie is pregnant, but won't tell her.
- Orphaned Punchline: Richard is telling Chris the last part of his hunter-and-gorilla joke when the episode starts. Given the information we get, we should probably be happy we don't get the rest.
- Passive-Aggressive Kombat:
- Sookie refuses to ask Lorelai to watch her kids while they're on vacation, she just keeps talking about how much it sucks that they can't go on a ski trip after the sitter bailed until Lorelai offers.
- Jackson ruins Sookie's vacation rather than tell her he thinks she's pregnant.
- Pregnancy Makes You Crazy: Sookie is emotional and takes things personally, like her last pregnancy. Jackson is the only one who senses it, because he's the only one who knows he's not sterilized.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Chris uses Lorelai's conditioner.
