On her first night shift, Lambie has trouble getting the babies in the McStuffins Toy Hospital Nursery to sleep.
Tropes:
- 10-Minute Retirement: After thinking she failed her job in the nursery, Lambie is prepared to turn in her badge and Labcoat of Science and Medicine before Doc talks her out of it.
- "Everybody Laughs" Ending: All the characters laugh at the end of the episode when the Bouncy Babies wake up in the morning and start bouncing all over the place.
- Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: When Chilly sees the Flapjack Cart rolling down the hallway on its own, he says a ghost must be pushing it. It’s only after he’s realized what he said that he runs off in fear. It turns out to have just been one of the Bouncy Babies pushing it.
- Gave Up Too Soon: Lambie hands off the job of putting the Bouncy Babies to sleep to Stuffy because she thinks she’s not good enough to do it. She sings the song that Flicker Firefly played so Stuffy can use it, kisses the babies goodnight, and leaves. What she didn’t realize before she left is that she actually succeeded in getting the babies to fall asleep after all.
- Hyper-Destructive Bouncing Ball: While they didn’t actually cause any destruction, the Bouncy Babies certainly caused a lot of trouble.
- It's All My Fault: Lambie says this when she loses the Bouncy Babies.
- Red/Green Contrast: Flicker Firefly glows red to help babies fall asleep and glows green to help them wake up. When his light gets stuck on “wake up green”, he can’t help the Bouncy Babies fall asleep.
