Daredevil Vol 1 #228 titled Purgatory, is Part Two of Five in Frank Miller ‘s legendary Born Again Story Arc. It was written by Frank Miller, pencilled, inked, and colored by David Mazzucchelli, lettered by Joe Rosen, and edited by Ralph Macchio. It has a cover date of March 1986.

  • Beard of Sorrow: Matt grows one after his life falls apart.
  • Curb-Stomp Cushion: Matt gets his licks in but is ultimately beaten senselessly by the Kingpin.
