War of the Light is the ninth Episode in DC Universe Online which focuses on the war between the Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps escalating into turning Metropolis into their battle field. This Episode marks the introduction of Saint Walker and the Blue Lantern Corps and also the return of the Red Lantern Corps. War of the Light serves as a launch of a trilogy series of episodes (Amazon Fury and Hall of Power would serve as the next set with the first of each released in the next preceding episodes). Also, this episode marks the addition of the Rage power set to the main game.
Summary
Strange prismatic mists have appeared in Metropolis that are affecting the city's citizens in addition to various heroes and villains, ranging from Yellow (Amber), Green (Emerald), Blue (Azure), and Red (Crimson), these mists have led the Blue Lantern Corps to come to Earth to join the other three corps already present on the planet in collecting the mists to discover their source.Tropes

- Kill Sat: Or rather Kill Planet as Ranx the Sentient City serves as the Sinestro Corps answer to Mogo the Living Planet.
- Older Than They Look: Arisia mentions how shocked people are when they find out how old she really is.
