Go To

Diana goes to get her driver's license, but in the middle of her road test the Super Villain Girls drive by in a stolen car. Out of duty, Diana pursues...Hilarity Ensues.

Tropes:

  • Badass Driver: When she gains the determination to run down Catwoman and the Super Villain Girls in their stolen car, Diana performs a lot of high skill maneuvers to keep up with them.
  • Boring, but Practical: Diana's second attempt at her driving test has her actually resist doing what she did the first time, instead having Karen track the Villain Girls' car and follow them while doing the test. Compared to the first time, the Hero Girls make it in one piece.
  • Chase Scene: Two. One fast, and one "slow and steady" victory.
  • Fruit Cart: What's a car chase scene without that cliche of wrecking fruit stands.
  • Hurricane of Puns: Livewire is constantly trying to help Catwoman improve her banter by pointing out cat puns she missed.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: The first few minutes of the episode are an epic sequence of Karen running from one public transit to another to pounding music...to meet her friends to go hiking.
  • Performance Anxiety: Diana is initially paralyzed with anxiety on her driver's test, to the point that she manages to stall an automatic car, before she sees Catwoman rushing by in a stolen car.
  • Running Gag: Along with Livewire coming up with cat puns, there's also Diana, Catwoman, and Karen each choosing different music to accompany the chase scenes.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: Diana gets her license and can drive Karen around now...but after seeing the number Diana's driving did on the car, Karen decides she's better off taking public transit after all.
  • Tagalong Kid: Karen and Diana run into Garth at the DMV and invite him to accompany them during the driving test. It becomes fortunate that he did, especially helping to save the car after Diana drives it into the bay.
  • Toon Physics: Diana completely destroys the laws of physics in the chase scene, making use of a bounce house to reach the villains on a roller coaster.
