Stopping for gas, Captain N and Kid Icarus end up on a video world where Robin Hood exists, and decide to help him fight evil for a bit, joining him at an archery tournament.
Tropes:
- Disguised in Drag: Prince John dresses up as Maid Marian after the villains kidnap her, to make Robin Hood think the archery tournament's still legit.
- Fake Crossover: Evidently this episode was meant to reflect the Nintendo game based on Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, but for one reason or another (probably because they couldn't or didn't bother to get the license), it actually uses public domain legends about Robin Hood and a generic idea of what a video game about him might be like (neither the game or the movie have Prince John, but the Captain N episode does; in the Captain N episode hearts restore health, in the actual game eating food or drinking a Healing Potion is done instead).
- The Guards Must Be Crazy: After the Sheriff of Nottingham summons his men to battle Captain N, the hero easily distracts them by mentioning a new dance they ask him to show them. Even though he's an outlaw they're supposed to be beating up.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Robin Hood and his posse, along with Kevin, Kid Icarus and even Duke are wearing them at the archery tournament. Little John's whole disguise appears to just be the Horny Vikings helmet he's wearing!
- Splitting the Arrow: As is expected, but this time it's because the Sheriff stole Kid Icarus's buzzsaw arrow and uses that.
