Milo has his heart set on a giant K2 Kone that he's been saving up for all summer. So when Owen calls out to be rescued from his runaway rollerblades just as Milo reaches the head of the ice cream line, he has a tough choice to make. Will the Captain do the right thing and help Owen? And will he even break the space-time-ice-cream continuum along the way? Watch and see.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • To try to stop Owen's runaway rollerblades, Milo uses a lifeline to so can hang on while he brakes for a complete stop. However, he realized that he actually used a bungee cord instead of a lifeline which didn't cause the blades to stop.
    • Milo then uses a blaster to stop the rollerblades after learning from cops and robbers movies where the good guys always wreck the tires on the bad guys cars to stop them. However when he shoots it, it shoots out slippery slime instead of blasting the tires, causing it to go even faster.
    • To slow down the blades, Milo then uses a parachute since it can slow down dragster race cars. However, once he puts the parachute out, it didn't slow it down.
    • Milo uses his "Bird Brain" by stepping on the brakes of the blades in order to slow down. Although he tries to do that, the brakes of the blades eventually break, one of the few instances that his "Bird Brain" solution didn't actually work to solve the problem.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: After going back in time just before summer begins as a result of Owen's rollerblades going super fast, Milo saw the day when Owen's overprotective mother decided to buy the blades as a result of her son begging for it. In order to reverse her decision, Milo jumps out of the wormhole and tells her not to buy the blades because Owen will get out of control, which she doesn't and Owen's blades disappear as a result of changing the decision, which she then suggests to use his money to get him, Milo and Lizbeth some K2 Kone's instead.
  • Faint in Shock: Happens to a child's parent after he finds out that a K2 Kone costs a lot of money.
  • Reset Button: After several failed attempts to slow down and stop Owen from using his out of control rollerblades, Milo and Lizbeth grabs onto him, going downhill really fast which makes them go backwards in time just before the summer season begins, and once he saw Owen's overprotective mom buying the skates for her son, he jumps out of the wormhole and tells her not to buy the blades, which she decided not to.

Ball of Confusion

Milo and Wendell face off on the mini-putt golf course, and it looks like Wendell's going to win until — a kid in trouble! Max has been trapped by a "never-stops-bouncing-ball" run amok! Can Milo save Max and his mini-golf rep in one easy blow? Well, no, it's not going to be easy. Is it ever?

Tropes in this episode:

  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • To stop Max's "never-stops-bouncing-ball", Milo uses sneezing powder as thanks to the sneeze particles in the air, he can see the exact of patterns of the balls passing. He was meant to lower his rope to rescue Max from the balls but since the powder obviously makes people sneeze, he accidentally sniffs a bit of it causing him to sneeze, and one of the balls cut the rope that he was holding and falls, making this plan backfire.
    • Milo then uses the King Neptune-Hole course from the golf course so he can open the trapdoor, come out from its mouth, and rescue Max from the "never-stops-bouncing-balls". However, just before he's about the open the exit for the mouth inside, his cape gets stuck to a lever, causing the course to activate which then sprays him out with water. It then sprays him and Max again when they try attempt to return back inside to the course.
    • When Milo was trying to look for another solution from his Power Pack, he notices that he has a lot of "never-stops-bouncing-balls" in his pack, which makes the problem even worse now once some of the "never-stops-bouncing-balls" hits different types of balls at the Funasium, making the problem even more bigger than before.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" to think of a soft landing for the "never-stops-bouncing-balls" so it can stop bouncing uncontrollably. He decided to use a magnet to get an ice cream machine to make a soft landing, which the plan works.
  • Mini-Golf Episode: Part of the episode has Milo and Wendell competing on getting the hundred shot first for the mini-putt golf course at the Funasium but Max calls the Captain to help after his "never-stops-bouncing-ball" goes haywire.
  • Only the Leads Get a Happy Ending: Milo was able to tie for the hundredth shot with Wendell in the golf course after his golf ball went in eighteen holes in one shot which then knocks over Wendell's shot in for his hundredth shot, while all of the minor characters didn't get a happy ending as after Max puts in another quarter to get a "never-stops-bouncing-ball" for himself, it pops out of the machine uncontrollably, causing havoc at the Funasium.

How well does it match the trope?
