While consulting for the latest movie adaptation of Brennan's novel "Bone of Contention," Brennan discovers that the supposed stunt corpse had been switched out for an actual set of human remains. Booth is offered a job on the studio lot, and embarrassing information is revealed about Cam's past.

  • Closest Thing We Got: With the rest of the team back at the Jeffersonian, Brennan's on-site "intern" is Barry Sommers, the actor playing Hodgins' equivalent in "Bone of Contention", as he actually has degrees in botany, microbiology, and entomology but just enjoys acting more. Despite this, he provides useful insight in helping solve the case while also working with Hodgins over video calls.
