The Graveyard of Courage:
- The Bus Came Back: Philomena Dusk returns after last appearing in the finale of the first half of season 1, with a Tiko possessed Magnus taking siege of her Bakugan facilities. She agrees to assist the Awesome One’s in stopping him. Meanwhile, the major Core Cell acquired by the city returns, to which Tiko and Magnus attempt to gain possession of.
- Everyone Has Standards: Riot of all people has some concern for Emily.
- Fighting from the Inside: Magnus tries to fight off Tiko’s control. He’s briefly able to fight off it when Dan gives him Emily’s message, only for Tiko to have completely taken him over.
- Heroes Love Dogs: While visiting Emily to try and find Magnus, she pets and fondles Lightning.
- Hypocritical Humor: As China and Tripp join up with the Awesome Ones to help Magnus, China calls out Lia and her team for not defeating Magnus in the maze. Lia counters that they should’ve bothered to help him out in the first place.
- Wham Episode: Magnus is completely taken over by Tiko as Tiko’s plans are finally revealed, to take over Vestroia, a name to which Drago is surprised by (and most likely the original home of the Bakugan).
