The Mask of Pride
- Arch-Enemy: Magnus and Dan's rivalry reaches a breaking point as he uses the power enhanced from the corrupted Core Cell and finally lets Dan know why he hates him so much.Magnus: I’ve always thought of you as a thorn in my side. I despise you. Bakugan battling comes so easy to you. You’ve never known what its like to struggle. And you don’t even understand your own power. Now, I’ll teach you how to struggle. Just like I have. You’re going to learn all about PAIN and despair!
- Deadly Upgrade: Magnus is able to fight Trhyno and gaining a new evolution, Super Evolution. The result is Titan Nillous, that splits into two different Nillious: Titan Nillous Nova and Titan Nillious Shadow. Magnus is able to one shot all of the Awesome One’s Bakugan barring Hyper Dragonoid with this power. However, he starts losing control of himself when Tiko attempts to gain control of his Psyche.
- Madness Mantra: “I’m the best, I’m the best, I’m the best”! Magnus yells this out after finally defeating Dan, only for Tiko to immediately attempt to brainwash him as a servant.
- Suddenly Voiced: Tiko finally speaks in this episode.
- Wham Episode: The episode ends with Magnus fleeing into the surface world with the huge risk of the V Virus spreading out into the world.
