Summary

It's Boonboomin' time!

Boondorio find himself falling in love! Tagging alongside Jou and Mira to the city, the three of them set out to fulfill Boonboom's dreams. However, the appearance of Block Bay Grumer and MadRex quickly deters their trip. As the Boonboomgers struggle against the Charge Team Captain, Genba makes his way to the battlefield. While he has been content with being on the sidelines, MadRex's overwhelming power forces his hand...

• Big "WHAT?!": Everyone's reaction upon learning Boondorio is in love.
• Curb-Stomp Battle:
  • Taiya, Ishiro, Mira, and Jou are on the receiving end of this by MadRex, who easily disposes of them with little effort.
  • Genba's first outing as Bun Orange sees him easily trouncing Block Bay Grumer.
• Dynamic Entry: MadRex joins the fray just as Taiya is about to finish off Block Bay Grumer.
• Fanboy: Used in a positive sense in this episode. Due to having very little experience with the concept, Boondorio believes that his infatuation with the tire mascot Beloras is love. Mira clarifies that he's probably an "oshi"^note 推し, lit. "being a fan of something"; the closest equivalent to English would either be stan or bias (used commonly in K-pop fandoms) of Beloras and not actually in love with it.
• Godzilla Threshold: It takes MadRex's appearance and the realization that the Boonboomgers will continue to grow into their powers and leave him behind to make Genba take the field as Bun Orange.
• Heroic Self-Deprecation: The main reason why Genba stays on the sidelines is because he believes that his talents are only suited to procuring and nothing else.It isn't until the team are driven into a corner by MadRex that he realizes that he can be far more than what he claims to be if he puts his mind to it.
• Hidden Depths: As soon as he sees the plushie version of Beloras, Genba calls it "cute" and starts fawning over it, to the shock of Ishiro, Jou, and Mira.
• Human Shield: Or in this case, "Car-shaped Alien Shield"; Itarsha uses Yaiyai as one when MadRex attacks them in retaliation for the Sanseaters' remarks.
• Theme Music Power-Up: The main theme plays after the core Boonboomgers have transformed, set to them suitably kicking Hashirien butt like no tomorrow.
