"Falling for Fall" is the eighth episode of Bear in the Big Blue House.
Autumn has come to Woodland Valley, and Treelo doesn't understand why the leaves are falling.
Tropes:
- Alliterative Title: "Falling for Fall".
- Couch Gag: In this episode, Bear finds that the audience smells like apples.
- Entertainingly Wrong: Treelo sees leaves falling and thinks it must be because the trees are broken. Bear finds Pip and Pop helping Treelo glue leaves to a tree in an attempt to fix it.
- Meaningful Name:
- Mentioned; Treelo says that he loves trees.
- Shadow tells the story of Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater, who (at least, in Shadow's rendition of the nursery rhyme) loves pumpkin in everything, including pizza and sandwiches. He and his wife even use a giant hollowed-out pumpkin for a house.
- Supreme Chef: Bear helps Tutter push a huge (to Tutter) pumpkin into his mouse hole, because he's planning to make pumpkin pie for a party he's giving for his friends. That evening, Bear walks into the kitchen, hears the party in full swing, and remarks on how great the pie smells. He then finds a slice of pumpkin pie on the kitchen table, with a note that says, "For Bear, from Tutter."
