After watching the final episode of Kamen Rider Revice, Kaito suggests the Donbrothers should have their own finale as well. In commemoration of the finale, the MVP will be decided, and the winner will be presented with a wonderful prize. Aiming to become the MVP of the Donbrothers, Haruka and the others appeal for it through their achievements. Who will win the MVP award!?

Tropes

  • As Long as There Is Evil: After Kaito points it out, Shinichi realizes that as long as people can be enslaved by their own desires that there will always be Hitotsu-Ki, which is why Kaito offers to give the Donbrothers their own finale.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall:
    • The Previously on… segment opens with the climatic scenes of Revice's finale, before panning out to show that Kaito was showing it to Haruka, Shinichi, and Tsuyoshi.
    • When justifying why he has awarded the MVP to himself, Kaito says that the Donbrothers have only been fighting for half a year, while he himself has been doing so for much longer. The scene then flashes back to moments from his Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger self.
  • End-of-Series Awareness: An odd variant where the end of another show is causing the awareness, with Kaito invoking this trope to happen for their show.
  • Five-Second Foreshadowing: While Haruka, Shinichi and Tsuyoshi are doing their best Don Onitaijin impression we see a shot of Sonoi already in Donbura before he speaks, startling the three.
  • Internal Reveal: Shinichi and Tsuyoshi find out that the owner's name is Kaito this episode, after he reveals himself to be the MVP.
  • Recap Episode: Under the guise of commemorating the Donbrothers' "finale", Haruka, Shinichi, and Tsuyoshi narrate their lives as Donbrothers, greatly playing up their accomplishments. When it comes to the others, they along with Sonoi and Sononi help fill the blanks for Tsubasa, Taro, and Jiro. It also is a slight one for Zenkaiger as Kaito's variant of the clip show is mostly clips of the original Zenkaizer (as Zenkaizer Black has not done much yet) as he explains that he's been fighting before all of them and that's why he's the MVP.
  • Series Fauxnale: Played for Laughs, as it's obvious by a myriad of production factors (such as no previews for the next Sentai team or the fact that one of the mechas advertised in the opening hasn't shown up yet) that Donbrothers isn't ending anytime soon, yet the episode plays it up as though it is.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: After the Donbrothers all make their case for MVP (with Tsubasa, Jiro, and Taro's cases all made in absentia), Kaito decides to reveal the MVP... himself, justifying it by pointing out that he's been fighting for longer than everyone else.
