Summary

The Second Coming sees Blue sell snack bars. Upon receiving money for one, Blue takes the money, throws it to the ground and causes the cash to sprout into a tree. The Second Coming finds that he can't do it on his own, so he purchases another snack bar to see the money grow into a tree again. The two show off Blue's powers to their friends and when they run out of cash and bars, they get an idea to gather money.

Blue, Red, Yellow, Green and Second Coming open a mobile Hot Dog stand where they sell hot dogs to other stick figures. With this money, Blue grows more trees over multiple areas, from along the pavement and the desert, to a plain in Minecraft and across the sea.

Second Coming wakes up; the whole idea of Blue being able to make trees Cast from Money was All Just a Dream he had. He witnesses Alan making a donation of 5 dollars for 5 trees (1 dollar translates to one tree). Taking action, Second Coming takes the 100 from "100 Trees", chucks it to the "5 Trees" option and hits next before Alan can react, forcing him to donate $5100.

Tropes:

  • All Just a Dream: The events are shown to have been a dream as the Second Coming wakes up from snoozing on the Animator's desktop. He then sees the Animator about to donate to #TeamTrees and decides to make that dream a reality by inflating the amount of trees being donated towards.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Blue is able to grow trees by dropping dollar bills on the ground, including pavements, deserts, and the sea.
  • Bland-Name Product: The chocolate bars Blue was selling at the beginning are clearly Snickers bars with the name replaced by a blue block.
  • Cast from Money: Blue's titular superpower. Throw a bill, plant a tree.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: When the stick figures are driving through the Minecraft world as Blue is dropping dollar bills, the dollar bills are replaced with Emeralds.
  • Green Thumb: Blue was already this when it came to Minecraft, but he takes it to another level here, growing full grown trees in seconds just by dropping dollar bills on the ground.
  • Involuntary Charity Donation: The short caps off with the Animator about to make a modest $5 donation, only for Second Coming to jump in and make it a much higher $5100 donation instead.
  • Shockingly Expensive Bill: Second Coming sees the Animator donate $5 to #TeamTrees. He quickly takes the 100 from "100 trees", chucks it to "5 trees" to form "5100 trees" and hits the "Next" button, forcing the Animator to donate 5100 dollars to the movement. Even better, Alan did actually donate $5100, stating that his stick figure made him do it.
  • Very Special Episode: Done as a plug for the #TeamTrees fundraiser.
