Tropes:
- Cold Turkeys Are Everywhere: Even while trying to relax on the beach, Red can't shake his paranoia of the eggs being stolen, and eventually starts seeing hallucinations of eggs everywhere.
- Exhausted Eye Bags: Red acquires these from guarding the eggs every day with no breaks.
- Looking Busy: The other birds make sure to look like they're protecting the eggs while Red is watching, but go back to playing as soon as he's out of sight.
- Not-So-Harmless Villain: The normally-incompetent minion pigs are unnaturally dangerous in this episode. After Red leaves to go on vacation, a huge army of pigs launches a surprise attack on the birds, easily overpowering them and taking the eggs. They likely would have won had Red not come back in time.
- One-Man Army: After finding out the flock has been crushed and the eggs have been stolen, Red rushes to King Pig's castle, takes it down, and retrieves the eggs in mere seconds.
- The Paranoiac: Throughout the episode, Red constantly worries that the eggs will be stolen, even when he should be cooling off at the beach. His fears are proven right when the minion pigs launch a surprise attack on the birds and soundly defeat them, taking the eggs with no resistance.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Matilda only appears at the start of the episode, but she kicks off the plot by making Red go on vacation.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: After the birds get wrecked by the pigs in Red's absence, he decides to make it up to them by taking them on vacation with him (along with the eggs).
- Time-Passes Montage: The episode starts with a montage of Red sitting guard by the eggs throughout the different seasons, slowly going mad from sleep deprivation.
- Workaholic: Red is shown to be outright obsessive about guarding the eggs. Matilda has to force him to go on a vacation, but even when he does go, he's still constantly tempted to go back to work.
- Zerg Rush: The minion pigs manage to soundly defeat the birds by overwhelming them with sheer numbers.
