- Justified: Bob, Alice's Mad Scientist father, specifically created tissue that would grow into a second liver in the unborn Alice to try to invoke Never Gets Drunk. He also tried to give Alice's lungs the ability to reject poisonous gas thus making her immune to being gassed, but it backfired, making her instead convert the nitrogen in the air to liquid and cough it up.
